Collaborative and Circular Business Models in the Global South
Track 1.4
In our “Get to know our tracks” series of NBM2023, we are excited to present today our track 1.4, focused on circular innovation and collaborative business models in the Global South, chaired by Timber Haaker, Saxion University of Applied Sciences (The Netherlands), Milou Derks, Orange Corners and Eindhoven University of Technology (The Netherlands), Nguyen Hong Quan, Vietnam National University (Vietnam)
According to Mr. Haaker and his co-chairs, the team is motivated to be a part of the conference because it provides an inspiring setting for the exchange of ideas and scholarly as well as practice-oriented interaction. Additionally, the track aims to connect practices and developments within the Global South with the Global North, in order to create a global learning community and accelerate the sustainable transition on a global scale.
This is an invitation for those interested in submitting their work to consider this track as an excellent opportunity to share practices, experiences, and knowledge in the context of the Global South. Submissions may cover examples of circular business models in the Global South, circular business ecosystems, global chains, informal sector integration, business model innovation in the context of formal institutional voids or necessity-driven CE.
Participants on this track will benefit from in-depth discussions on circular innovation and collaborative business models (including those in the Global South) and thus benefit from a global learning community that aims to deepen our understanding of how to accelerate the sustainable transition on a global scale. Overall, the NBM Conference is dedicated to fostering a community of thought leaders and practitioners who are committed to driving sustainable business models and innovation. We encourage all those interested in this field, with a particular focus on collaborative and circular business models, to submit their work and join us in this important conversation on this conference track.
