In 2025, the International Conference on New Business Models (NBM) will celebrate its 10th anniversary — a decade of building community and driving impact!

This special edition will be hosted by the University of Iceland in Reykjavík, on 25–26 June 2025, with a Doctoral Colloquium on 24 June.

Over the years, the NBM conference has become a leading forum for advancing research and dialogue on new business models for sustainability. As we gather for its 10th edition, global challenges continue to call for bold, local responses — scaling up sustainability innovations and transformative business models to shape inclusive and regenerative futures.

This anniversary is more than a celebration of NBM’s journey — it is an invitation to reflect, engage and co-create with our growing international community of scholars and practitioners. Together, we continue exploring how all sorts of organisations can create sustainable value — so that life, in all its forms — human and ecological — can flourish.

Below, you’ll find some highlights of what’s in store for this special edition... and stay tuned — many more surprises are coming in the weeks ahead!

We can’t wait to celebrate this milestone with you.

The NBM Board.
