Call for Submissions
Humanity faces many uncertainties to wellbeing and prosperity from growing worldwide challenges. Yet the progress on the SDGs is far from advancing at the speed or scale required. Thus, the 6th edition of the Conference focuses on business model innovation for the SDGs. In particular, we aim to provoke interesting conversations on sustainable, evidence-based and impactful business models, linking research and practice.
We are looking for contributions that bridge disciplinary boundaries as a means of tackling the systemic and complex nature of the grand challenges on one hand, and business models for sustainability on the other.
Aligned with the tradition of the NBM conference, the types of submissions include, but are not limited to:
Theoretical, conceptual, and empirical papers
Experimental research
Literature and practice reviews
Single, multiple, large-sample case studies
Qualitative, quantitative, mixed-methods research
Authors are invited to submit extended abstracts, short papers and full papers until 14 February 2021 through the registration and submission system (ConfTool). Accepted contributions must be revised and resubmitted until 23 April 2021. All accepted and timely (re-)submitted contributions will be referenced in the conference proceedings. Contributions must be submitted to one of the proposed sessions
Make sure you use the below templates for your paper
A new feature of the NBM@Halmstad 2021 conference is to offer a pre-conference, half-day doctoral workshop. The doctoral workshop is intended for students who work on new business models-related topics and are at different stages in their PhD studies process. The objective of the workshop is to support doctoral students as they shape their dissertations.
